Purchasing

How do I make my purchase?

  1. Choose your Show / Tour/ Opera
  2. Choose the date and number of tickets
  3. Enter the name, phone number and email of the person who will pick up the tickets
  4. Pay securely with your credit card, debit card or Paypal

We will send you a purchase confirmation email immediately, for each product you order.

We will usually email your exact seats within 2 hours of your purchase. In rare cases this can take up to 2 business days, depending upon the theater.

Are your prices final?

Absolutely. We charge no fees on top of what you see on the site. What you see is what you pay! We charge in US Dollars only.

How can I purchase tickets over the phone?

We accept calls from all countries, and speak English, French and Spanish. See our contact us page to find the number that is most appropriate for you.

I purchased my tickets but haven’t received a confirmation, what do I do?

Please check your junk email folder first. If that fails, contact us with the name and email address you used for the purchase - we will sort it out for you.

I tried to buy tickets but it didn’t work

Contact us, we will help you figure out why and make sure sure you can purchase as soon as possible.

Seating

When will I know my seats?

NewYork60 will usually email your exact seats within 2 hours of your purchase. In rare cases this can take up to 2 business days, depending upon the theatre.

If you do not receive an email within 2 business days, please check your SPAM folder or contact us so we can re-send it.

Where will my seats be?

Your seats will be together, in Orchestra (98% of the time) or Front Mezzanine. The theater assigns the best seats available at the time of purchase. We email your assigned seats shortly after purchase.

Keep in mind that the sooner you buy, the better your seats!

What are the different kind of seats in the theater?

  • Orchestra Seats are the closest to the stage, often preferred by theatergoers.
  • Front Mezzanine Seats are usually the 2 front rows of the Mezzanine and are considered comparable to the Orchestra seats.
  • Premium Seats are among the best in the theater, sold for a premium price.
  • We do not generally sell Rear Mezzanine seats because of their reduced visibility.
  • Promo Tickets are special offers. These may also appear in our shopping cart occasionally.

Will my seats be together?

YES! We guarantee that your seats will be next to each other for groups of 4 or less. About 98% percent of groups larger than 4 are seated together.

If I don’t like my seats, can I cancel my order?

Absolutely. We are happy to help you change your seats, or for most shows you may cancel your tickets for a FULL REFUND until 10 days before the show and 20 days prior to the opera - simply contact us! You can consult or Cancellation FAQs

Is it possible to know which seats the theater will assign prior to purchasing tickets?

While we can’t choose your seats, we can give a pretty good estimation of the seats you will get. Please contact us with the show, date and number of tickets. And if you don’t like your seats with most shows you can cancel until 10 days before the show.

What are Premium seats?

Premium seats are generally located in the center Orchestra, or on the side close to an aisle. They are rarely located in the center of the first 2 Mezzanine rows, or the side of the first 2 Mezzanine rows close to the aisle. When Premium Tickets are available, you will see them as an option in the shopping cart.

I purchased my tickets but haven’t received a seat assignment, what do I do?

Please check your junk email folder first. If that fails, contact us with the name and email address you used for the purchase - we will sort it out for you. Please remember that seat assignments may take up to 2 business days to arrive.

Picking up Tickets

How do I get my tickets?

Our tickets work like airline "E-Tickets". Simply bring a printout of your confirmation email to the theater box office or tour location, your tickets will be waiting.

  • Theater tickets are picked up between 2 hours and 45 minutes before the show.
  • Tour and activity tickets are picked up as indicated on the confirmation.

Do I have to present the credit card I used for purchase to the box office?

No, all you need is personal identification matching the name on the reservation.

Special Requests

What if the tickets are a gift?

No problem. Simply reserve them using the name of the person who will pick them up. Then, purchase the tickets with any payment method you like. We will send the confirmation to the email address you provide us.

How do I reserve tickets for a group? Are there discounts for groups?

How do I reserve a disability/wheelchair-friendly seat?

We can arrange this with the theater directly. Please contact us for more information.

Cancellations

Broadway Shows

  • Changes & cancellations for a full refund are accepted until 10 days prior to Broadway shows.
  • "No Changes/Cancellations" Shows: These products will not permit changes, cancellations or refunds under any circumstances.
  • Name changes are possible until 48 hours prior to the show.
  • Cancellations & Refunds Less Than 10 Days Prior to the Show: Less than 10 days before the show, it is up to the theater whether or not they will issue a refund. NewYork60 will do everything we can to assist you, however we cannot guarantee a cancellation or refund.

Activities and Tours

  • Changes & cancellations for a full refund are accepted until 10 days prior to activities/tours.
  • "No Changes/Cancellations" activities/tours: These products will not permit changes, cancellations or refunds, under any circumstances.
  • Name changes are possible until 48 hours prior to the activity/tour.
  • Cancellations & Refunds Less Than 10 Days Prior To The Activity/Tour: Less than 10 days before the activity, it is up to the activity provider whether or not they will issue a refund. NewYork60 will do everything we can to assist you, however we cannot guarantee a cancellation or refund.

  • "No Changes/Cancellations" Operas: These products will not permit changes, cancellations or refunds, under any circumstances.
  • Name changes are possible until 15 days prior to the opera.
  • Cancellations & Refunds Less Than 20 Days Prior To The Opera: Less than 20 days before the opera, it is up to the theater whether or not they will issue a refund. NewYork60 will do everything we can to assist you, however we cannot guarantee a cancellation or refund.
