Gershwin Theatre

The Gershwin Theatre was designed by Ralph Alswang and inaugurated in 1972 as the Uris Theater.

In 1983, during the Tony Awards, it was renamed after the famous composer George Gershwin.

Translation headphones are US $10 per set, and must be purchased at the box office right before the show. The translation is dynamic and entertaining and does not interrupt the original songs. Languages offered are: Japanese, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, and Korean.
