Trying to decide which Broadway shows to see? There are a lot of options, but you can’t go wrong with the audience favorites below. Check out these descriptions and book while you still can!
The Lion King
The Lion King is the highest-grossing Broadway show of all time. Winner of “Best Musical” and 5 other Tony Awards, this Tim Rice and Elton John creation chronicles the classic tale of a young lion cub on the adventure of his life. Especially good for families, The Lion King is our best seller.
Phantom of the Opera
One of the world’s most successful productions, The Phantom of the Opera has moved audiences since its Broadway debut in 1988. Talented performers act out the classic plot and bring us the music we love. Phantom of the Opera is a customer favorite, and we highly recommend it.
Chicago
One of the longest-running musicals on Broadway, Chicago has entertained over 17 million people since its debut in 1975, receiving six illustrious Tony Awards along the way. The show is based on a true story of love, greed and the darker side of show business, and never ceases to entertain and surprise audiences.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
A new musical about the most magnificent chocolate factory. After Matilda, another tale by Roald Dahl is is set to open on Broadway on april 23rd 2017 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Two-time Tony winner will take on the role of Willy Wonka. The director is the three-time Tony Award®-winning Jack O’Brien.
Wicked
Wicked tells the story of the Witches of Oz before the arrival of Dorothy and her dog Toto. Based on the novel of the same name by Gregory Maguire, this clever take on the events in the Land of Oz has been charming and entertaining audiences for years. Another successful show that keeps on playing and selling, it’s hard to go wrong with Wicked, especially if you have a taste for irony or social commentary.
