The Story of the Broadway musical Jersey Boys
Jersey Boys is performed in the style of a documentary, chronicling the formation, ascent and eventual break-up of The Four Seasons. The show is separated into four “seasons,” each narrated by a different member of the group. Act 1, entitled “Spring” (Tommy DeVito) and “Summer” (Bob Gaudio), and Act 2, entitled “Fall” (Nick Massi) and “Winter” (Frankie Valli), follow the four seasons of the group’s evolution. Each group member demonstrates his own perspective on the band and his specific contribution to it.
Jersey Boys features a book by Rick Elice and Marshall Brickman with music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe.
The show is entertaining for adults of all ages. However may be inappropriate for children younger than 12 due to strong “Jersey” language and content. Also, herbal cigarettes may be smoked on stage.
We hope you enjoy the show in Broadway!
